Regular Annual Christmas Services

Christmas was (and, of course, still is) such a magical time for family and community. So at Tawstock the services were very important and at the yearly Christingle and Midnight Mass there were crowds of worshippers both parishioners and their relatives who were staying with them over the Christmas holidays. The Christingle service usually attracted around 40 children with their parents/grandparents and the procession with lights dimmed, and every child carrying a lighted Christingle, around the church singing 'Away in a Manger' was really special.

Most years Midnight Mass was also packed as we enjoyed singing the traditional Carols and receiving our first Communion of Christmas.

There were also often two Christmas morning services (08:00 Holy Communion and 11:00 Christmas Family worship)
